Hello. I'm Bob McCabe, Sheriff of the City of Norfolk, Virginia. At the Norfolk Sheriff’s Office, our motto is “we are committed to excellence and teamwork in law enforcement. We will be accountable to uphold the highest standards in our field – corrections, court security and civil process”.

I have enjoyed serving as your Sheriff for the past 15 years, with nearly 500 dedicated men and women who work here at the NSO. Together, we can make Norfolk a safer place to live, work and raise a family.
